Collaboration
Successful innovation and the commercialisation of IP are all about collaboration – few people succeed alone and few innovative ideas reach full potential without the support of others. The UK Innovation Forum (UKIF) is dedicated to enabling the effective commercialisation of UK IP by directly supporting the critical enabling collaboration.
The members of the UK innovation community, be they Universities or research centres, entrepreneurs, SMEs and start-ups or Government bodies and global enterprises, often work in silo communities made of a small number of known local resources; and although reliance on such silo communities offers the advantages of well-established relationships, they can also be restrictive and limiting!
The UKIF helps its members extend their reach into a much larger and broader community, which increases the opportunity to find the most appropriate answer to their specific challenges.
You should join the UKIF if you are involved in the UK innovation community commercialising IP and are looking for:
- New skills and experience to build a team
- A solution to a technical problem
- Innovative ideas
- New partners or suppliers
- Routes to market
