St George’s, University of London

We are pleased to announce that  St George’s, University of London is the UKIF’s latest Institutional member.

St George’s is the UK’s only specialist medical and healthcare higher education institution.

It is a dual faculty institution, offering medicine, biomedical sciences and health and social care sciences.  It is justifiably proud of its distinctiveness as a health sciences university with its own identity through being co-located with its university hospital in South West London.

The high-quality education and clinical practice provided by St George’s is informed by world-class research activity. Its research benefits from its strong links with the healthcare professions, including its shared site with St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust.

St George’s has an international research reputation in fields including infection and immunity, heart disease and stroke, cell signalling, public health and epidemiology, clinical genetics, and social care sciences.
